Blatant Media co-founder Mike Eggermont has a background in multimedia development and holds a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia. He studied under Tony Bates, a founder of the British Open University and a pioneer of 30 years of distance education.

Mike Owens entered the e-Learning field in 1996 as a military consultant on a ground breaking multimedia CBT program for infantry. Owens is known to sometimes uncontrollably shout "Drop and give me 50". It's best that you cooperate.
