Abdirizak Abdi

Abdirizak Abdi is a Vice President on the Technology team at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS). He joined WCAS in 2019 and was part of the investment team for Absorb in 2021. Prior to joining WCAS, Abdi worked as a TMT M&A Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore.
Outside of work, Abdi is a board member at Good Shepherd Services, a New York-based non-profit organization that operates 98 programs across the city, supporting over 30,000 people in underserved neighborhoods.
Abdi lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and spends his free time playing tennis with his fiancée, working through a long list of international travel destinations, and enjoying a hot cup of black coffee—even in the summer.
Abdi earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College, with a concentration in Computational & Mathematical Finance.
