Jennifer Ding is a General Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), where she leads the firm’s efforts in the Education, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Human Capital Management technology sectors. She currently serves on the Boards of Absorb Software and LINQ and was previously involved in Intoxalock, Norstella, and Clearwater.
Before joining WCAS, Jennifer led investments across application and infrastructure software businesses at various stages of growth at Permira and JMI Equity. She also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and managed business operations at Lytx. Jennifer’s focus on software and her diverse roles in the ecosystem allow her to empathize deeply with executives and support them in navigating strategic and operational challenges as they grow their businesses.
In her free time, Jennifer can be found attending her kids’ activities or taking a dance class, a hobby she has enjoyed since childhood. She also loves exploring international destinations and experiencing local cuisine and culture.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
