As Co-Founder of Absorb Software, Mike spent nearly 20 years leading the company toward his vision of creating a leading, intuitive SaaS-based Learning Management System. After bootstrapping the company for its first 14 years, Mike oversaw Absorb’s transition into a scaled, global business and managed the successful acquisitions and integrations of four companies into the Absorb family. Absorb was acquired by WCAS in 2021, and Mike continues to serve as a board member.
Mike also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces as a reservist for 24 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
