Absorb Software CEO, Kimberly Williams, was welcomed by representatives from IDA Ireland today in Dublin, Ireland along with colleagues Peggy Pulliam, Executive Vice President of Client Services, Cheryl Yuran, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Darren O’Connor, Director of Client Advocacy. James Farrell, Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Content, Consumer, and Business Services, and Brendan Fay, Project Manager of Enterprise Development, represented IDA Ireland. In this meeting, the organizations discussed future growth opportunities as well as their strategic partnership.

During the visit, Williams commented that Europe is a strategic market for our organization, and the Irish site is crucial in servicing that market. Ireland has been a great fit for Absorb due to its availability of great talent, proximity to European customers, and strong business environment. The workforce in Ireland has strengthened significantly in the last two years and even doubled in size over the last 18 months as we continue to hire.

Williams also gave an overview of expansion plans for Ireland and Europe in the meeting, acknowledging the growing edtech sector. The Absorb team and IDA representatives discussed the Irish ecosystem, the value of growing Absorb’s operation in Ireland, and the IDA supports available for Absorb.

The visit concluded on a positive note – we look forward to nurturing the partnership with IDA and gaining insight into trends within the tech industry.
