Your LMS should work for you, not the other way around. That’s why every Absorb release is packed with upgrades that reduce admin effort, improve scalability, and unlock new ways to drive real results for learners and admins alike.
In our latest release, we focused on strengthening the core foundation of our LMS products so you can scale with confidence, reduce repetitive work, and drive more meaningful learning outcomes across your organization.
From bidirectional syncing with Salesforce and SCIM for Azure to bulk actions like certificate downloads and course updates, these updates are all about saving time and cutting down the busywork. They make Absorb easier to manage at scale, helping you move faster, stay compliant, and get more out of your LMS. And yes, your feedback in the helped shape what’s new.
Here are six new features you won’t want to miss:
1. Bidirectional Salesforce connector
Keep your CRM and LMS data in perfect sync—automatically
Absorb LMS connectors help you to simplify processes and reduce manual work by integrating with your HR system, CRM, or project management tools.
One of our most popular integrations just got a major upgrade. Our Salesforce connector now offers two-way syncing, so user data flows back into Salesforce from Absorb LMS. This means you can keep Salesforce as the single source of truth for both customer and learner activity.
With this new capability, your admin can:
- Automatically create contacts in Salesforce under accounts
- Sync enrollment and course progress directly to contacts
- Give sales and customer service teams instant access to learner data—right inside the CRM
This update is a big step forward for partner enablement, customer onboarding, compliance tracking, and training-as-a-product. Fewer manual tasks. More real-time insights. See how our bidirectional Salesforce connector works in the release notes.
2. SCIM for Azure and Entra ID
Automate user management with secure, real-time provisioning
If your organization uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), this one’s for you. Absorb now supports SCIM for Azure, enabling automatic user provisioning and updates from your identity provider to your LMS.
Key benefits include:
- Zero manual setup—users are created and updated instantly
- Admin roles assigned based on your directory rules
- Tighter compliance and security, with better access control
- A smooth onboarding experience, supported by a guided integration
SCIM for Azure ensures that your LMS reflects your org structure from day one, with no sync files or delays. It’s smart, secure automation that scales. This idea came from our customers, and we’re so pleased to announce it’s now live. Learn how to enable SCIM for Azure and Entra ID in your environment.
3. Bulk-edit more course details—instantly

This top-voted customer idea (50+ votes!) is now a reality, giving you more control and less clicking. Perfect for admins overseeing massive catalogs or frequent updates. Watch how bulk edits work in the Absorb Academy.

4. Streamlined role and skill management
Build it to fit your business, and see only what you need
Now you can build a curated skill library for each job role by selecting only the skills relevant to your organization. Easily customize job roles and skills directly to align content for your unique business.
We’ve also improved the Absorb Skills administration experience by separating the full Absorb catalog from your active skills library. This means you can browse and pull in only what you need, reduce visual clutter, making setup more efficient, and creating a faster path to meaningful upskilling. 5. Subscriptions for recurring revenue
Sell learning as a service with monthly or annual plans
Absorb’s eCommerce just got better: You can now offer subscriptions to your online courses. That means recurring revenue and longer-term learning engagement.
With subscriptions, here’s what you can do:
- Define subscription scope—single courses, bundles, or entire catalogs
- Set purchase visibility by audience or dashboard rules
- Let learners buy monthly or annual plans via credit card
Backed by 50+ customer requests, this feature is now in open beta. If you want to be among the first to enable subscriptions, reach out to your Absorb Account Manager. Learn more about how the course subscriptions functionality works in the Absorb Academy.

6. Assessment reporting in Analyze Essentials
Dig deeper into what learners know—and how well assessments perform
If you use Analyze Essentials, you already know it’s a powerful way to monitor learning performance. Now, we’ve made it even better by adding assessment questions and assessment answers as new data sources.
This means you can:
- Evaluate how individual questions perform
- Pinpoint where learners struggle
- Improve assessment design over time
It’s a step forward in transforming LMS data into real learning insight—and another way we’re helping customers turn content into outcomes. With 40 votes in our Absorb Ideas Portal, this is another crowd-pleaser we’re excited to bring to our customers.
